It all Started when late shri Kewal Krishan Kapoor decided to get into the jewellery trade 51 years back. He started with a manufacturing unit of gold traditional jewellery under the name of K.K Kapoor and brothers in Amritsar with more then 50 specialist and skilled workers ( Karigas ) under him. His honesty hardwork and willingness to grow earned us the name all across India. In 1978, we came up with 2 more manufacturing and wholesale offices in delhi and kolkota which added to the strength of the company with that we started supplying our gold traditional jewellery to entire india.

In 1980 late Shri Kawal Krishan Kapoor with his son Mr. Umesh kapoor decided to enter into the retail business so they opened a jewellery showroom under the brand name of MALLIRAM JEWELLERS in guru bazaar, Amritsar. With sincerity towards his work and a spark to take this brand to a new height Mr Umesh Kapoor gained the trust and love of the people in Amritsar and surrounding. With his Innovative ideas towards jewellery designs he made Malliram jewellers from just another jewellery store in town to a brand in india.

In 2006, Mr Umesh Kapoor Opened a new showroom UMESH's MALLIRAM DESIGNER JEWELLERY in mall road j.k Towers Amritsar, which was bigger and better. This year two new members of the family joined the company to carry the long and renowned legacy which was started by late Shri Kewal Krishan Kapoor. With new ideas and new concepts Mr Gaurav Kapoor and Mr Satyam Kapoor joined their father Mr. Umesh Kapoor. Vast range of designs in diamonds and gold and love and affection of the customer made them one of the top jewellers in india. Today Mr. Umesh Kapoor, Mr Gaurav Kapoor and Mr Satyam kapoor continues to serve their customers with latest trends in jewellery and making a life time relation with more then 10000 Pieces under one roof.
